Why SJS?

We prepare students for further education; high school and college.

Admission Policy

The schools of the Diocese of Owensboro shall not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin in administration of their educational policies, admission policies, tuition assistance, athletic or other school administered programs.

The school will provide a Catholic environment in which ethnic and cultural diversity is recognized and supported. Awareness and respect for our multi-cultural Church and nation will be developed at St. Joseph School.

Registration is accepted in the following order

  1. Current students
  2. Siblings of current students
  3. New students from Holy Spirit Church and St. Joseph Church
  4. New students from the surrounding area

All new students will be admitted to St. Joseph School on a 30 day conditional basis.

Admission Guidelines for New Students

Admission of a new student is pending until Registration Fee and Registration Form are completed. New students will receive an Acceptance Letter from the principal following review of the application.

Students entering St. Joseph School will need the following documents. Many of these forms can be found on the New Family Registration page.

For more information refer to the Registration Checklist for New Students.
