Unfinished work from class becomes homework. We recommend and encourage the use of a daily planner to keep up with current and upcoming due dates. Studying of notes and definitions is an essential part of homework each day. It is our goal that the students will develop good study skills by reviewing their notes daily, rather than waiting until the night before the test. Alternating weeks, students have either Spelling or Vocabulary homework due Thursday, and a test is given Friday. Students should be reading nightly. 10 independent Accelerated Reader points are due at the end of each quarter for a quiz grade in Literature.
