Welcome to Mrs. Morgan's Preschool Website

Our mission here at St. Joseph School is to teach as Jesus did, challenging students to embrace the gospel message, to achieve academic excellence, and to make a positive difference in the world.

Our preschool program is designed to meet the developmental needs of all children - physically, mentally, spiritually, and socially.  We provide an atmosphere that promotes security and self-confidence.  All of the activities are designed to allow the children to succeed both individually and in groups.  Children are given the opportunity to develop logical thinking patterns, concentration skills, listening skills, and  language skills.  Math is introduced in concrete form.  Experiments in science are a regular part of our curriculum.  Children learn to care for their school environment, both indoors and out.  There are endless opportunities for learning and preparing for their future in Kindergarten.

Hi!!  I'm Stephanie Morgan and I am so excited to be teaching my sixth year in Preschool!!  I absolutley love teaching here at St. Joe's.  Not only did I graduate from SJS, but now I have a five year old son here in Kindergarten too!  I graduated from WKU with an elementary education major and I received my Master's in Elementary Guidance.  This is my ninth year to teach school and I can not imagine doing anything else.  This is what I believe I was meant to do!!!!  I also have a wonderful husband and two beautiful children, a son that is 5 1/2 and a daughter that is 2 years old.

Birthdays

Birthday celebrations are a huge part of a child's life.  Here at Preschool, we feel it is important to make sure each child feels he or she is special.  When your child's birthday approaches, talk with a teacher to discuss bringing in a small goody to share with the class.

Birthday posters can also be made to share with the class.  Pictures from the child's life should be included to show their life milestones.
