 SCRIP PROGRAM
As a condition of registration, each family agrees to generate at least $50 in profit through the SCRIP program during the school year (beginning in mid-April 2010), or to buy out of the SCRIP program by paying this amount.  This profit or buy out is in addition to the tuition rates and registration fee.  At the end of March 2011, families who have not reached the $50 goal will be billed for the difference.  Once the goal is met, then 75% of SCRIP profit above the $50 goal can be applied toward a family’s tuition.  Families needing to opt out of this program because of financial difficulties, should contact Mrs. Lange or Fr. Jerry Riney.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM for TUITION

There is a family scholarship program funded by the Holy Spirit and St. Joseph parishes and private donors.  Holy Spirit and St. Joseph families wishing to receive financial assistance through this program are asked to complete an application, which is sent to the Private School Aid Service in Ohio.  The report they submit to the school, based on a family’s financial information, is used as a guide in determining the amount of financial assistance a family will receive.  There is a $21.00 processing fee that must accompany the application when sent.  Applications are available in the school office or can be printed from a link on the St. Joseph school web site. The school authorization code is 1696.  The information received is kept completely confidential.  Only the principal and priests see the information in the report.

For more information, contact Mrs. Jan Lange or Fr. Jerry Riney.
