What we are: A parent organization that supports and enhances the educational ministry of the school. The Association actively recruits parent volunteers, organizes fundraisers and social events for the school, and coordinates the Homeroom Parent responsibilities. A President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer are elected by the general membership and serve two-year rotating terms with two officers being elected each year. A President-elect is elected biannually and serves next to the President for one year in an observatory role. SPA Board meetings are held monthly and general membership meetings are held throughout the year. The principal and a teacher representative are present at all Board meetings.
Our Purpose: To be a bridge for the school-parent community and foster communications as well as closer relations between the church, home, and school. Membership in the school-parent association is open to all parents of students attending Saint Joseph School, its principal, teachers and staff.
Our Mission statement: "To foster a greater sense of community between the parents and staff of Saint Joseph School, and to support them in our mission to maintain a true model of our Catholic faith."
